The origins of Good Speed Publishing trace back to the nineteenth century, when the name became associated with credibility, craftsmanship, and a dedication to literary excellence. Although the original organization eventually ceased operations, its reputation continued to inspire those who believed its values still had a place in modern publishing.

In February 2021, that legacy was formally revived by a group of publishing professionals led by Janice Good Speed, Michael Lee, Noah C. Habsburg, Samuel Carter, and several other industry experts. Their vision was not simply to restore a historic name, but to build a modern publishing company that combined traditional publishing values with today’s innovative publishing solutions.

Operating from Austin, Texas, and New York City, Good Speed Publishing now serves authors across a broad range of genres and publishing goals, providing comprehensive publishing services tailored to the unique needs of every project.
